Herotrain (pronounced Heh-row-train) is basically just Thomas but more evil and with white eyes. He has the same blue paintwork and number 1 as Thomas and has a lamp on his buffer beam which may or may not be a weapon. Many engines of Sodor say they've seen sightings of him, but still no-one knows if he's real. He shares several traits with Herobrine, a Minecraft myth.

- Herotrain shares several traits with the Minecraft mythical character, Herobrine. Like Herobrine, he has white eyes with no pupils. However, Herobrine resembles Steve from Minecraft, whereas Herotrain resembles Thomas
